a blooming mariachi

The littlest one got up first to dance and play music with the mariachi. Needless to say they were amazing.

Other Heartfelt Speeches

Everyone did really well with their speeches and tales- John's was notably perfect. However, at one point in the evening after I had made very good friends with the padrino, it seemed to make sense to Jessica and I to get up and say something for and about Kristin. I was thinking of for loops and unique functions for Kristin and Tom, however Jessica said- Let's just go! Now! And all of a sudden she was up and walking over there, so I wandered behind her thinking I just won't say anything, I'll just smile and look....well, all was good until Jessica said and then Jennifer wanted to say...

Anyway the best moment of the night was when two of Tom's college friends went up, began to speak and the mariachi band started. They stood there awkwardly, but smiling, waiting for the end of the joke and the band stopped. Tried to start, the band started. The next time, they weren't so hasty and waited a couple of beats after the mariarchis stopped. But, lo there they go again. As soon as they were able to begin their speech, a yellow stray dog comes running through the party with Antonio running behind pinwheeling his arms and screaming some strange go away dog yell.
