| We took the
metro from the Zona Rosa at the Insurgentes stop down into Coyoacán
to Viveros. The mile walk into downtown was quite nice and we discovered
a great little breakfast place with fresh pan, strong coffee, fresh
squeezed orange juice and good huevos rancheros for about $1.50 each. |

| Unfortunately,
we have no pictures to share of Dos Fridas or the death cards as picture
taking was not allowed in the blue house. Trotsky's place was situated
right under a highway at the last street's cutofft. Simple, elegant,
humble. Unfortunately, Trotsky met with an untimely demise with an
ice ax as a fellow who made nice by sleeping with Trotsky's secretary
was allowed into his office. See the clipping above- Stalin, The Executioner,
Alone Remains. Actually Stalin was responsible for the death of almost
all of Trotsky's family- his first wife, his sister, his brother,
two sons, two daughters, two son-in-laws and three nephews. |
